Kavango Diamond Project, 9 licences, 7,411 km2 (49% interest; joint venture with Namdeb Diamond Corporation, which can earn up to a 65% interest). Reverse circulation drilling commenced in early May, 2008 and 15 holes were completed. Ground gravity surveys were completed over previously identified magnetic targets that had been previously drilled and which had returned high indicator mineral recoveries. Sample processing results have presented a full suite of kimberlite indicator minerals. Interpretation of the abundances, types and compositions of these grains has helped further constrain the inferred source area for the Omatako heavy mineral anomaly.
